Australia’s own Highs and Lows appears to be the next shop selected to work on the Reebok Classic Leather. As was promised earlier in the year, the shoe is going to be outfitted extensively with collab looks in 2013 thanks to the help of a ton of the most premium sneaker spots around the world. The Aussie take ends up a muted one, as the shoes have a coffee colored look going on between the french roast and coffee brown tones. The Nike Kobe 8 NSW Lifestyle in gorge green will release on June 15th. The sneaker is the second Kobe style this season go fully flat-footed casual design on us, and it will be the third one to get away from the basketball category if you count the “Mambacurial” in there as well. With the ‘Grape’ Air Jordan V retroing for just the second time this May, Jordan Brand has applied the iconic style’s signature palette to a variety of styles leading up to the release date. Here’s one that’s actually a bit closer to the ‘Grape’ V’s counterpart in the ‘Aqua’ VIII, thanks to the Air Jordan 1 Mid relying upon Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 a black upper as the base for Grape Ice and New Emerald accents. So it appears that this Air Jordan VIII is a “Suns” homage after all. The Air Jordan VIII “Suns” will release on May 18th, 2013, coming 20 years after Michael Jordan and the Bulls beat out Phoenix in the 1993 NBA finals. It’s on full display on this latest revelation, a model That starts with a neon-accented grey-black gradient. Cross pollinating of Jordans goes to a whole new level this year via the Air Jordan V 3Lab5 pictured here. The sneaker, also carrying the slightly more descriptive Air Jordan V “Elephant Print” nickname, goes full on Air Jordan III across its upper. The last couple of times we saw Rihaa, she was on a little bit of a Reebok tear. It looks like she hasn’t completely left the Air Jordan retro world behind though. We haven’t seen nearly as much of the OG Air Jordan 5 Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 that seemed potentially the other half of a fall 2013 ‘Fire Red Pack’, but this new style from its predecessor is indeed becoming familiar.  We recently leaed it’s nubuck and not suede that makes up the upper of this forthcoming Air Jordan IV, and today we have the first report of a date that in fact falls within the Fall ’13 season.  The ‘Fire Red Nubuck’ Jordan 4 is now slated for a Ju;y 13th release date, and though that’s a ways off from here, you can enjoy some new images below in the meantime.

One of the earliest moments in Jordan’s career that gave us glimpses of his impending dominance was the legendary 63-point performance against Bird and the Celtics in the Playoffs. We’ve seen a Celtics homage of sports in the Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 Air Jordan 1 Defining Moments Pack, which featured the Air Jordan 1 in a Black/Green Celtics colorway, but this one takes it a bit further by adding that retro golden touch with imprints of a hardwood floor on the green panels. This past spring we saw the resurgence of the asymmetrical lacing system thanks in part to Nike’s decision to revamp their Nike Footscape Woven Chukka Motion model, and they’ll only be continuing to push the look with this summer’s Nike Air Footscape Motion. A few images surfaced for upcoming colorways, but now we get a look at the loudest one yet in sonic yellow. The breathable mesh upper is supported by a soft grey suede toe box. Most of you are probably pumped about the Air Jordan XI “Bred” restock. These customs are almost a visual interpretation of that statement. The man responsible for that crazy ‘Grinch’ custom of the Air Jordan IV hits us with another Frankenstein of a creation, which we must say spells out a better definition of ‘custom’ than any repainted sneaker we’ve seen before. The Air Jordan XI “Bred Pump” by Freaker Sneaks features the revolutionary Reebok Pump module attached to the Air Jordan XI, creating an air-filled Pump bladder for that added lockdown fit, but it’s the sheer design of this unique concoction that should coerce a response both positive and negative. Another alteration that may not be so noticeable is the new lace eyelet that replace the classic hoop (a personal preference of the customizer). These have been completed for some time, but it’s still an incredible concept that shouldn’t go uoticed, so check out the images below and let us know what you think about this redefined “Air” Jordan XI.

After some animal stuff and a blackout colorway, the recently resurrected Nike Zoom Hyperflight goes a more direct route to high energy. This new Gamma Green colorup is a reminder of all the Hyperflight colorways that first hit back in 2001, and orange accents coect with today, as in college football is right around the coer and these look like a Miami Hurricane. Alpha Project design plus The U’s colors makes for a great way to end the summer, and you’ll find them available at Nike Basketball retailers tomorrow, or go ahead and grab one now from hotkixx on eBay.

Joining the ‘Fear Pack’ edition on the horizon for upcoming Air Jordan Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 IV colorways is this ‘Prism’ edition. Engineered Mesh gave the Kobe 8 the graphical edge during this nearly concluded generation of Nike Basketball signatures. This ‘Spark’ Kobe 8 is the latest colorway revealed, yet more evidence of this model’s strong finish. The electrified upper design looks a little like fireworks; when will its explosive presence be felt at retail? You’ve always gotta wonder how much input any given athlete actually has for their signature releases. Giving us a good idea of how they work over at Nike SB is this new video, which features Brian Anderson talking about his new Nike SB Project BA silhouette. Particularly interesting is the toe treatment, which footwear designer Fabricio Costa created in conjunction with Anderson to have an ruer-like uptued toe, the angle therein tuning them more towards the skater’s flip-trick heavy style. Before the original colorway retued in late 2011, Nike Sportswear teased the trainer faithful a bit by issuing this white/grey/Citron makeup on the SC II. And if the original turquoise edition can retu in less than two years, it Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 stands to reason that the demand for this Nike Air Trainer SC II High with the almost OG colorup will make itself known as well. Another on-feet headline coming out of the USA Mens National Team mini-camp is Nike athlete Anthony Davis rocking a new PE colorway of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. This Dunkman-esque mix features a bright metallic silver with a punchy neon green (not to be confused with the Charcoal/Atomic Green version that released back in 2012). Based on last week’s release of the Arctic Green colorway, it appears that Nike Basketball isn’t done with the Hyperposite yet, so hopefully the pair on Davis’ feet is just a sign of  a future release. LeBron James spent some time on August 13th traversing the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR by foot and by bicycle, making some pit-stops at a LeBron sand sculpture (yes, the Portland area has sand) and an interesting display inside the WHQ walls. Ten years of Nike LeBron greatness were up for viewing, with each of LBJ’s signature models individually encased along a straight line makeshifting a metaphorical road to the Nike LeBron 11. The entire set was in an all-black format some of which we’ve seen before, some not at all, but all amazing. With two NBA Titles, two Olympic Gold Medals, four NBA MVPs, and a Dunk Contest Trophy already under the man’s belt, it seems timely for Nike to embark on a LeBron retrospective of some sort, and we can most certainly expect a story-line with the debut of the LeBron 11.

Like it or not, this interesting display brings us back yet again to the topic of the Nike LeBron Retro. If you compare the trajectory of the Air Jordan and the Nike LeBron, you’d realize that the two could not be more different. Air Jordans made their Retro debut in 1994 when MJ was thought to be done with the game, while LeBron James has shown zero signs of desire to hang ‘em up earlier than usual. More importantly, the Air Jordan line was all about sleek and stylish design opposed to the Nike LeBron, which is revered for its robust iovative upgrades like Dynamic Flywire, Hyperfuse, full-length Zoom and much, much more.  So while it would be nice for Nike to celebrate ten years of LeBron in some way, is a bringback of the early models namely the Air Zoom Generation that LeBron himself wore just a few days ago Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 the way to do it? adidas Originals continues to celebrate the upcoming retu of the adidas Mutombo with this, a new animated series titled “The House of Mutombo”. The videos will apparently document Deke’s jouey from his village in Africa all the way to the NBA. This first chapter talks of his upbringing a bit as well as his eventual move to the US, with Mount Mutombo playing the role of the narrator in animated clip. This new August colorway of the Jordan Son of Mars Low is definitely one that feels out of place. The sneaker sports a combination Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 that sort of looks like the Air Jordan III “Stealth” of old, despite that sneaker having been released well before the Jordan Son of Mars Low (Or even its predecessor) existed. The shoes go tonal grey on the upper and are bookended by black based elephant prints, those sections not looking too Nike Free Run 3.0 V3 far off from what’s arriving tomorrow on the Air Jordan III “Fire Red”. The Nike Free Trainer 5.0 is the next of Nike models to make Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 a trip down to Oregon. The sneakers will actually be releasing on August 31st, the first day of the Ducks’ 2013 season. We wouldn’t assume that Ducks fans would be pre-gaming as early as 8AM when these will go live on Nikestore, so they should be able to get them out of the way and then carry on with their festivities for that special day. MIA Skateshop’s Nike SB Dunk Low release won’t be a Miami exclusive. Trinidad James continues his tear of early sneaker wears with this, the Air Jordan V “Bel-Air”. There have been various blacked based samples of the Air Jordan V floating around for well over a year now, a set that preceded any DJ Khaled pairs or actual release versions. The Nike KD VI “Bamboo” launched in China over the weekend, as Kevin Durant himself headed out East to show off his new signature shoe. The leafy theme attached is one meant to convey Durant’s growth over the years, along with the ideas of Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 balance, harmony, toughness and versatility typically associated with the plant out in China. Don’t worry though, the pair will not be an Asia exclusive-they’re hitting North American retailers as of September 14th. There’s plenty of Air Jordan V heat on the way, but which one is tops? After Garbstore dropped their Reebok Classics capsule, it seems like other brands are offering their own take on the ‘inside-out’ concept.  We saw it with  a Puma Suede duo and now a quartet from Vans OTW that divides itself between inward and outward expression.  The brighter two of the Vans OTW Prescott ‘Lines Pack’ drops place tonal markings on their uppers, while the darker pairs opt to use this graphic on their insoles.  Teal, red, black and grey colorways are available now along with apparel and accessories at OTW retailers and depicted in more images below.
 

NIKEiD finishes off its series of inspired LeBron 11 designs with a focus on LeBron’s most recent title the Two-Time World Champion.
